Subject: AIM workshop - Psych. Invitees

     Here is the status of my attempts to reach the various invitees
to the Psych. part of the AIM workshop.  As you know I called Colby
on Monday and he said that he had not received
the original invite letter--seems they didn't forward it from Stanford.
So he wanted another letter before he decided although he seemed 
agreeable over the phone.  So I sent him a letter when I got back here
to Mass. and I will call him this week again to see what his decision is.
     David Rumelhart at La jolla I finally reached and he has a problem
in that those are the dates when finals are etc. at La Jollla so
he isn't sure.  Both he and Norman are not going to the MIT Conference
because of that conflict.  However, I suggested to Rumelhart that if he
could make it for at least Sun. and Mon. that that would be good and he
said he would try to do that and as I recall we are to presume that he will
be there for at least that period.
     Abelson I have tried at least once a day for the past week and he is
always out and has meetings or something for the rest of the day.  So I
will keep trying.  
     So the score is:
  Collins coming and bringing Mark Miller.
  Schank coming and bringing Chris Riesbeck.
Rumelhart probably coming for 2 days.
Colby need to call but impression is that he will probably come
Abelson ?
Rieger,  probably coming but need to call and firm up.
     So that is that.  I will keep you posted.
